WHOThe Tourette Association of America (TAA)Founded in 1972, the Tourette Association of America (TAA) is dedicated to making life better for all individuals affected by Tourette and Tic Disorders. As the only national organization serving this community, the TAA works to raise awareness, advance research, and provide ongoing support to patients and families. To this end, the TAA directs a network of 31 Chapters, 83 support groups and recognizes 20 Centers of Excellence across the country.The Tourette Association of America has developed community-based athletic events across the country, known as Connect with people around the globe for this special movement to raise awareness and funds in support of the Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorder community! Taking part in Miles for Tourette is as easy as getting up and getting active! Fun activities include dog walking, throwing a frisbee, jump roping, bike riding, running, swimming, and taking part in the TicFit Workout Series. Whatever you choose to do, don't forget to take photos and tell us about it!
