A truly grand place to enjoy a cigar, the Grand Havana Room is an absolutely exclusive haunt—you either need to be a member or know a member to get in. There's a good reason for that: the wealthy and famous go there to enjoy a puff or two of whatever cigar they've got in their suit jacket's breast pocket away from the prying eyes of those not famous enough to be uninterested in fame. Alec Baldwin and the Reverend Al Sharpton have been spotted there, among others, enjoying the astounding views, stunning decor, and rather sumptuous menu. It's the sort of place where it's both May and December year-round, if you get our drift, although sometimes it seems more April-November, and not infrequently, March-December. As with the best private gentlemen's clubs (not of the stripping variety, of course), the dress code is as strict as the entry policy, although no one who's able to gain admittance needs to be told to dress to the nines.
