CUT by Wolfgang Puck

Financial District

World renown chef, Wolfgang Puck, makes his long awaited NYC debut with CUT, his award winning Steak House franchise in the Four Seasons Downtown. Featuring Japanese Wagyu beef, known worldwide for its marbling, naturally enhanced flavor, tenderness and juiciness. Convivial atmosphere perfect for power lunches, after work cocktails and elegant dinners. Executive Chef Raymond Weber runs the kitchen.

Oso

Matthew Trebek (celebrity kids for 1000 please) and Nodar Mosiashvili create cuisine inspired by Trebek's experience with the street food of Mexico City. Cassandra Rhodes works the kitchen, cooking up some exceptional dishes including grilled shrimp tacos, braised octopus tostada and ribs with a guava-chipotle glaze. Cozy interior, with cool mural and some Día de Muertos set the ambience - but it is the amazing cocktails will loosen the mood.

Sunday in Brooklyn

Restaurant vets Jaime Young, Todd Enany and Adam Landsman picked their favorite day of the week as inspiration for this popular Williamsburg spot. Comfort, food, and family drive this spot. Starting with wood planked bar where seasonally inspired cocktails and natural wines are served until the wee hours. A plush dinning room rests a floor above the bar, and a beautiful rooftop garden crowns the joint.

Belle Harlem

Harlem

Chef Darryl Belle Burnette creates unique dishes with familiar flavors in this 12-seat chef’s table in Central Harlem. The menus are based on locally sourced ingredients and change monthly.

Lilia

Williamsburg

Missy Robbin, former executive chef at Spiaggia, returns to New York to bring a fresh, lively take on Italian fare to Williamsburg. Menu leans towards seafood and handmade pastas. The restaurant is located in former auto repair shop, and is sun-drenched and airy. White painted brick keeps things light, like the menu, making for an unfussy and pleasant place to share a meal.

Paowalla

Floyd Cardoz turns his attention back to NYC with this Soho restaurant that harkens back to his beloved Tabla as well as his recent explorations in native India, where his Bombay Canteen has drawn rave reviews in the Mumbai culinary scene. Reviving some dishes from Tabla, such as rice-flaked halibut in watermelon curry, tamarind margaritas, and bacon naan, but also introducing regional dishes from the breadth and width of the Subcontinent. From Tibetan tingmao, to dishes from the Southern region of Kerela. An absolute must for lovers of Indian food!

The Wooly Public
